Welcomed Nancy Goldback Carr, Vice President of the German-American Club in Portland
On Friday, Oct. 4, 2019, Günther Schuster welcomed Nancy Goldback Carr, Vice President of the German-American Club in Portland, Oregon, in Rothenburg. Together with her brother Harold and his wife Kathy they were on an ancestral trail trip of their father's family in the Franconian-Hohenlohe area. After a tour around the town with lots of information, the guests had a good time with Schweinebraten (roast pork) and dark beer in the traditional Gasthaus Ochsen.
The members of the Pale Riders Country Club e.V. share American country hobbies like line dance and western riding and also the re-enactment of early pioneer life. The DAG financially supported the third American History Ball at the Orangerie Ansbach (Sep. 14, 2019).
On Saturday, September 14th, the DAG invited members and friends to the Heckenwirtschaft (wine place) Mann in Bullenheim. With Franconian "Vesper" and Franconian wine, the German - American party had an unforgettable social evening.

The German-American society West-Middle-Franconia supports the exchange of the Reichsstadt-Gymnasium with the Adolpho Camarillo High School in California. Chairman Günther Schuster symbolically hands over a check for € 500.
